The pioneers of shoot fighting were the original architects of lethality, stripping martial arts to its rawest, most functional form. Before the glitz of the modern octagon, these warriors fought in shadows, merging hybrid grappling with punishing strikes. Warriors like Karl Gotch and the early legends of Fujiwara Gumi defined an era where lineage was earned in blood and sweat, establishing the high-tension foundation that Ludus Magnus honors today. They weren't just fighters; they were creators of a devastating legacy that refuses to be ignored. We train in the spirit of Ludus Magnus!
